Viscri Village

A visit in the Brașov village of Viscri is like travelling back in time: old houses, some of hundreds of years, most unrenovated, but with a special charm, painted in pale colours, with shutters on the windows.

From time to time, a cart goes by on the dusty and bumpy country road. The Viscri village has just over one thousand inhabitants and hosts one of the most spectacular Saxon fortified churches, one of the six listed in the UNESCO heritage.
