Black Church
(14-th and 15-th centuries), the largest Gothic building in Romania, with the highest Buchholz mechanical organ in Europe, boasting 3993 pipes and 76 registers, still functional. Here you can listen to classical and pre-classical music concerts (the Christmas concert is famous). And also here you can admire the largest collection in Europe of Anatolian carpets of the 16-th and 17-th centuries, fragments of mural painting from the 15-th, a baptismal font from 1472 and many antiques. In front of the church, there is the statue of the great German humanist, Johannes Honterus, in the schoolyard of the school bearing the same name.
